(FR) _ Deux ans après la sortie de leur première compilation, le label Omakase, chapeautée par Goldie B et Kumanope, signe un retour vibrant avec « Omakase Colors Vol. 2 », consolidant davantage leur réputation d'explorateurs de l'éclectisme sonore.

Ce nouveau projet réunit tant des visages familiers de leur catalogue, parmi lesquels NxQuantize, Emahix, P. Real et Albertas, déjà présents dans le premier volume, que de jolis noms de la scène émergente made in France, comme la très talentueuse Violet Indigo, les producteur-ices HI ROSIE, Tom Manzarek, RAVL, Karlita et Gipsyan, ou encore Zapp-Ared et le dynamique quatuor néo jazz Angles Morts. A l’instar de son prédécesseur, ce deuxième volume explore avec audace un spectre musical large allant de l'ambiant au broken beat, en passant par le trip-hop, la bass, le downtempo ou encore la liquid jungle, et incarne la vitalité de la scène électronique moderne, foisonnante de textures et d'influences, tout en osant l’expérimentations dans la fusion des genres.

(EN) _ Two years after the release of their first compilation, the Omakase Recordings team, led by Goldie B and Kumanope, returns with a vibrant comeback in "Omakase Colors Vol. 2," further solidifying their reputation as sonic explorers.

This new project brings together both familiar faces from their catalog, including NxQuantize, Emahix, P Real, and Albertas, who were already present in the first volume, as well as some exciting names from the emerging French scene. Among them, you'll find the highly talented Violet Indigo, producers HI ROSIE, Tom Manzarek, RAVL, Bwi- Bwi, Karlita, and Gipsyan, as well as Zapp-Ared and the dynamic neo-jazz quartet Angles Morts.

Just like its predecessor, this second volume boldly explores a broad musical spectrum, spanning from ambient to broken beat, through trip-hop, bass, downtempo, and even liquid jungle, encapsulating the vibrancy of the contemporary electronic music scene, characterized by a wealth of textures and influences, while boldly pushing the boundaries of genre fusion.
