(EN) - The Omakase recordings first 2022 release confirms its taste for the musical aesthetics coming from the UK. With « Not Enough », the new single from the french producer Daaria in collaboration with the producer, DJ and MC Goldie B, the independent label from Marseille is indeed bearing witness of its yearning to open its catalogue to more bass music sounds.

Made with dense dark textures, shivering bass and sharp beat backed by a vocal oscillating between rap and ironic mannered singing, this new track looks like an hybrid and vibrant ode to the perpetual insatisfaction. With this first vocal contribution on that kind of production, Goldie B is introducing us to her languishing and caustic flow and plus, submits us a drum & bass remix of the original track, pretty much epic! Finally, a banger UKG remix produced by the DJ and producer Kumanope completes this new release that definitely should be played at high volume.

(FR) - La première sortie 2022 d’Omakase Recordings confirme son appétence pour les esthétiques musicales d’outre manche. Avec le single « Not Enough » signé du producteur et sound designer Daaria en collaboration avec la DJ, productrice et MC Goldie B, le label phocéen atteste en effet son désir d’ouvrir encore un peu plus son catalogue à des sonorités résolument «bass music».

Ses textures denses, ses basses ronronnantes et obscures, sa section rythmique aiguisée soutenue par une voix oscillant entre rap et chant ironiquement mièvre en font un morceau efficace et percutant, une ode hybride et fracassante à l’insatisfaction perpétuelle. Par cette premiere apparition vocale sur une productions de ce genre, Goldie B dévoile le caractère tant languissant qu’acerbe de son flow, et nous adresse par ailleurs un remix drum & bass épique du morceau original. Un deuxième remix, orienté UKG et signé du producteur Kumanope, vient également appuyer cette sortie résolument musclée qui demandera, vous l’aurez compris, à être écoutée fort.
